Google’s budget-friendly AI Plus plan reaches 40+ countries, unlocking creative opportunities with smarter design support.
The Google AI Plus Plan has reached more than 40 countries, with availability in Angola, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Senegal, Uganda, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
It began in Indonesia at Rp 75,000 ($4.50) per month and costs about $5 in most countries. In Nepal and Mexico, users can join with a 50% discount for six months. This makes the plan a budget-friendly AI tool for designers and creative professionals.
The AI Plus for Designers package includes Gemini 2.5 Pro, plus creative AI tools like Flow, Whisk, and Veo 3 Fast for generating images and videos. Subscribers also enjoy enhanced features in NotebookLM, AI integration in Gmail, Docs, and Sheets, and 200GB of cloud storage for project files.
The rollout follows OpenAI’s sub-$5 ChatGPT Go plan in Indonesia. India, where ChatGPT Go launched first, is not listed among Google’s supported countries.
Both companies still keep a $20 monthly plan as their standard. These new creative AI tools aim to reach a broader audience by offering affordable AI for creatives in markets where the full $20 plan feels expensive.
