Ai-Da: The Humanoid Robot Artist Redefining What Art Means in the Age of AI

Ai-Da recently unveiled a portrait of King Charles III, a project officially approved by Buckingham Palace, despite the robot never having met the King. She previously painted Queen Elizabeth II in 2023 and created a triptych of Alan Turing, which was auctioned for over £1 million.

Her work isn’t just confined to galleries — Ai-Da has presented at influential global venues including the United Nations AI for Good Global Summit, the House of Lords, and the Oxford Union, where she addressed the social and ethical implications of emerging technologies.
